If you send out a print brochure to people who see your advert then think of the process in which the brochure gets into your customers hands. They see the advert, they request a brochure and you post them the brochure.
However, if you have an advert with a link to your website, the customer can go at any time and find out more information instantly.
An on-line brochure also has the benefit that small changes do not incur heavy printing costs - you can simply change the relevant content.
